Upcoming Infrastructure Upgrades

TMD Hosting is very excited to announce major infrastructure upgrades are planned across all shared (cPanel) and VPS servers.

As part of our continuous improvement efforts, every server will be upgraded to NVMe storage and AMD EPYC CPUs, delivering faster performance, improved reliability, and a smoother hosting experience for all clients. All PHP versions will continue to be supported. Please note - this affects only services ordered before July 2025. All services ordered more recently already use our new NVMe hardware.

New servers will have new hostnames. The old hostnames will be repointed to the new systems and will keep working, so if you use these in DNS records, they do not need updating. However for simplicity we recommend using the new hostnames where possible.

Unless mentioned otherwise all migrations will run outside main business hours of 8am - 6pm local time.

The rollout schedule for London, Singapore and Sydney is now below. Our United States and Europe regions will be posted shortly and sent by email.
